Plaster Casting

On Sunday morning at Seal Beach, some students from Art 110 and I went to the beach to work on our plaster casting project. We came prepared with our buckets, shovels, and plaster casting. I’ve never done anything like this before. It was messy but very fun. My hand didn’t come out exactly as I thought it would, I feared it wouldn’t look like a hand at all but in the end not only did my hand come out but also a moon. It definitionly was different from others plaster casting but I love how it turned out. 😇🤚🏽🌛
